New take on old idea?

By Ronu, in X-Wing Squad Lists

So bored and just playing around and out of the blue ran up this list.

2x Zeta Specialist w/ Acc Cor and Title

4x Academy Pilot.

so 6 ship Swarm. I could drop one go with 5 and mix in aces or move to Crack swarms like so:

2x Omega Specialist W AC and Title and Crackshot

2x Black squadron pilot w/ crack shot

1 Academy Pilot

or

2x Zeta Specialist w/ Acc Cor and Title LWF

2x BSP w/ Crackshot

1 Academy pilot

or other variations in this vein. Biggest thing is are the Accuracy Correctors actually worthwhile on the SF's? Certainly it would be **** on lower agility ships, and at least forcing rolls on higher ones. And as part of a swarm I like it in that roll question is still does it really work here? Anyone used th AC on lower PS SF TIES and do they work well?

I ran a similar list yesterday..

Omega Specialist ×2 Crack Shot (1), Twin Ion Engine M.K. II (1), Collision Detector (0), Cruise Missiles (3), Spec ops Training (0)

Omega Squad. Pilot ×2 Adaptability (0), Targeting Sync. (3)

Deadly in the opening joust, the TIE F/Os use Targeting Sync. so the S/D's can get off the Cruise Missiles. I haven't tried AC on them yet, but I'm sure it wouldn't be bad by any means. You'd always have 2 hits out of your auxiliary firing arc.

Bumping as I still would like more input.
