So the local shop is having a 50 point tournament in a couple weeks, and of course this number crunch really limits what can be brought in a list. That being said, I wanted to fly something not normally seen on the tables as of late.

So my initial thought was to go for some sort of Ps advantage, I mean as much as one could with the U-wing, anyway:

U-Wing (27), Veteran Instincts (1), Sensor Jammer (4), Advanced Proton Torpedoes (6), Hotshot Co-pilot (4), Bistan (2), Pivot Wing (0), Guidance Chips (0)

I've had good success with Bistan and sensor jammer, Although Hotshot co-pilot and Guidance chips are really optional here, I could also do something like this:

I could also not worry about my Ps and give myself PTL. And really swap out any system, mod, or crew. Rebels really have allot of options.

Although with Cassian I wouldn't be getting anything out of his pilot ability. So That of course leave's heff tober if I wanted to go that route. I was thinking something like this:

Both let you ignore bumps. One lets you have 3 focus and 3 rerolls each turn but limits you to greens. The other opens the dials but cuts out 2 focus.

At 35pts you can fit in 15 to taste

You're not limited to one ship, right? U-wings are not that great in general, but this could be hilarious:
