A very Happy Friday to everyone. It is extra special as after nine months (most of which was temping) I final have a full time placement within a company I love as an employee which starts on Monday. Within the Star Wars X-wing world we have Wave 11 which is making waves, surprisingly good and a box of Aces with an amazing update that makes the Star Viper good but is not broken, FFG did a great job with balancing the ship which gives me hope other ships can be updated. ALSO My wife picked out my first set of templates and tokens from a third party, which look amazing along with that I was given an extra scrrugggggg as a congrats gift.

In short life is good, X-wing is good, Hotac is good, wave 11 is good, scum is good, everything is good.

I am thankful for my wife who is a better human being than I ever thought I would have the privilege to spend my days with.

In X-Wing I love glorious Epic battles played with thematic lists.

My oldest kid just turned 4. He was born 2 months early and spent over a month in the NICU. It was really touch and go. Now he's perfect and excited about starting pre-k!

also I'm finally going to get some x wing games in after a month drought!

I'm thankful for my aunt, who gave me a gift card for Half-price Books. I went in, not quite sure what to spend it on. Then I noticed a small box labeled "X-Wing Miniatures game". Little did I know what I was getting in to ?.

In X wing, I love Flying TIE's in formation (especially the First Order ones). They just look so dang good.

Depends, a lot of defense for rumored FAQ comming from all the laser brained nerf herders.

Hey, I think there needs to be some changes to the game and that balance is off but if these rumors are true, there's got to be a better, nay there must be a better way.

I'm thankful for a great family. My daughter just graduated high school as the #3 in her class of over 400. She got into a great college that I can almost afford. We just took a family vacation to Canada and we had a great time. I was even able to work a little bit so that I was paid for the whole week without much effort. My new job seems pretty cool, too. Oh, and my beautiful wife still loves me somehow and puts up with all my crap.

Oh, and I picked up my Wave 11 ships tonight! I got one of each, but they only had 1 Aggressor when I was going to get 2.

Ha! I give you a hard time because I like you. Don't worry about me actually kicking you off! I just hate that stupid idea that others have put out about FFG making the game unbalanced to sell more minis. If I answered harshly to that, it was not you I was curt about.

My brothers friend was run over by a gravel hauler on her bike. Broke her neck and Dr.s thought she would lose a leg. Thankful that post multiple rounds of sugery dr.s are cautious but its looking better that they might save the leg. And that she can move her hands and wiggle toes pre-spinal surgery.

That's just the noise of all the people that want to get a rise out of me. I grew up with 2 brothers, so I'm used to attempts at annoyance.

I'm thankful that I got to play four rounds of X-Wing in a Store Championship in my home town last Saturday - the first time in a year I've been able to play some X-Wing without travelling for a couple of hours. And I love the fact that we're less than a month away from GenCon, and with any luck a WAVE 12 ANNOUNCEMENT
