FFG, make her the first Unicorn non-unique to get an experienced version. Heck, let the fiction be her experiences that led her to that scene. Also, errata her to be a Battle Maiden.

idk why not lol. Assassination is a 0 cost event that can remove a 2 cost character from the field. This card doesn't care if they have fate attached or equipment on, just the cost of the character. You only get 7 fate a turn so 2 cost characters can be very appealing to get some bodies out. Removing these bodies is very relevant and can mean the difference between winning a conflict vs breaking the province, or keeping your province from breaking.

A lot of things can mean the difference between winning or losing a conflict, but I haven't seen Assassination pop up once in any game. Maybe it's the secret tech that will dominate the first metagame, maybe no one plays it because it's honor cost prohibits it from decks, or other removal is better without the steep cost? Maybe the secret is just to play 3 or higher cost characters to prevent Assassination or Blackmail from being played, if at all?

I'm sure there's an answer or possible scenario to everything out there. I'm more concerned with that probability and Assassination's might be extremely low or non-existent.

In the 1st Edition Crab book, there was some stuff about the Crab being more than just dumb thugs. One of my favourite passages was a reference to poetry being a common Crab pastime whilst off-duty. They even had an order of storytelling monks.

In retrospect, a lot of nuance got lost during the long journey from 1st edition to 3rd.

If this is a direct mirror to anything it's the Crab Stronghold.
