I didn't say there wouldn't be consequences. Anyone remember Stone Skin from Android Netrunner? This wouldn't be the first leak from an FFG playtester.

Also Biggs is the Dengar of rebels as is Whisper for Emperials. There is no need to nerf it anyway

Only, uh, Whisper is far from broken. The amount of bombing going on, Whisper is lucky to be viable , but nevermind that:

Factions shouldn't be limited by their one broken pilot or upgrade card. Fixing them is not a crime. With that said... if they really do hardcore nerf Jumpmasters, does this mean we get Deadeye back?

If any imperial ship fits the bill it is Quickdraw.

Whisper is actually going to benefit a lot from the Adv. SLAM nerf, because thanks to the decloak change you can't be certain where she is and now you don't have SLAM to adjust. Ironic, given how the whole "mine their face" playstyle was developed to combat Phantoms initialy.

Maybe. I think she's good, but no Dengar. As a player who plays mostly Imperials, I'd readily give up Quickdraw forever if I didn't have to face Biggs (because he's not really ever fun) or Dengar (because he's crazy-good).

I feel Quickdraw is almost the best ******* thing in the game, but falls short. She is actually I think the most balanced top-meta pilot in the game. Future tech upgrades can make her really good.

I agree. She's very powerful, but balanced, you have to damage her to trigger her effect. Dengar is on a higher curve, still.

Imperials are pretty balanced in most ways. Right now, they don't have anything super powerful, and most of their ships are manageable. If the game was only imperial ships, I think it would be in a pretty good place right now.

The power creep would still be real - the humble TIE fighter's days remain in the past - but it would at least be... Less egregious.

A 1-2 point modification upgrade that allows 2 dice primaries to have more of a punch could revitalize them, and I believe sooner or later it will happen, due to the number of 2 attack ships in the game.
Something like this

Right now this would enhance the primary attacks of A-Wings, TIE Fighters, TIE Advanceds, TIE Bombers, Y-Wings, Z-95-s, Scycks, K-Wings, Punishers, TAPs, TIE FO-s, QuadJumper and TIE Aggressor. Some of these ships don't care (Bombers, Heavy Scycks, K-wings, Punishers, Y-Wings, and Aggressors) except maybe some fringe builds.

Any ability that allows to roll additional dice becomes better, TAP and TIE heroes, but they could use it. Vader likes his EU too much, even though ATC is nasty with this thing.

It would also boost the ARC and SF, unintended. None of those would be broken, these ships need their mod slot to become more maneuverable or tanky, and they can kit out their offense anyway. Quickdraw might get a bit nasty, but then it is really easy to shoot down.

Honestly, if you restricted precision lasers to AGI3+, I really like it.. Mechanically, it makes light ships have an increase in average damage, action free, which they desperately need. By restricting it to AG3 ships (maybe AGI2) you are restricting ships that typically have other methods of boosting attack from taking it. So Jumpmasters, turret equipped Y-wings, K-wings, TIE Bombers with munitions, etc., will rely on upgrades with their primaries just being backups.

Thematically, AGI3 ships are usually light superiority fighters, so they're relying on those guns to do work, they're not powerful weapons, but it's easy for the ship to bring them to bear.

The problem with Crack Shot is that it is a once use EPT, and still requires a relatively good roll to be effective on low primary attacks against higher agility defense. I really like Crack Shot on Royal Guards in epic, because I feel that the 1 point cost is worth more with a 3 attack dice.
If Crack Shot was reworded like this:
