So, Wave XI came out, but is nowhere to be seen in Germany(by that I mean in a german translation). I just talked to a dealer who said Heidelberger Spiele has trouble providing proper support for the dealers and a new distributor was found but that there are some issues. Hence no new and no new old ships for Germany. Does anyone have more rumors or actual facts?

Should be out today, at least my FGS said so. Its probably an issue with Heidelberger integrating with Asmodee. Might also be an indication for the German localization not making as muchmoney because 40k 8th ate everything, but I doubt that, it still is Star Wars after all.

So Heidelberger was bought by Asmodee? That might be what the dealer was talking about.

I don't think that the german localization doesn't make enough money, it seems a great deal for the shops and also by the rate that the ships are sold out the demand seems to be high enough. Well maybe distribution gets better once Heidelberger is integrated to Asmodee.

Favourite gaming store, like FLGS = favourite local gaming store. My favourite store is 2 hours north from me and does most buisness online (BigPandaV, great guy running excellent tournaments and a passionate miniature painter, he really loves and knows what he sells), so the local part doesn't really apply. The LGS here is poor when it comes to supporting anything that is not a card game or GW, so I am happy to support him rather than them.
