The Actually Quite Short but Dangerous Arm of the Law

I was thinking about interesting stuff to do with the new cards and suddenly this popped into my head.

Constable Zuvio (Quadjumper), Cad Bane, Bomblet Generator, Pattern Analyzer, Spacetug Tractor Array.

That's 28 points, you can add your pick of EPT and there is an illicit up for grabs as well. You end up with a small, reasonably scrappy ship that can fulfill a bomber role, you could even add EMP Device in the illicit slot, but I'm not sure how many more points you'd want to spend here. Even if you take it up to 30pts that's still easily enough to get a couple more ships out on the table. Could be fun.

So, what would you run alongside this scrappy little bomber?

I was going to recommend Veteran Instincts if using a drop-on-reveal bomb, but.....you know, who cares?

Drop it anyway, it's not like you run out!

The Quadjumper isn't very fast, nor is it very tough. So I'd keep it as cheap as possible, and try and have a couple of more scary targets in the list - maybe protectorates?

I suspect that even moreso than other Quads, you'll have trouble getting this guy into place to do his thing before he pops. Other quads just have to get to range 1, this guy either has to sloop into the face of the enemy, or get over their heads, and neither is attractive.

I have run something similar but I would run Clusters on Zuvio with Pattern Anazlyer (so you can drop it, back up and tractor someone over your cluster) and a second Quad with your build out.

I typically put Fenn with Expertise, Title, and an APT to make people want to shoot him first.

(EDIT) I usually split Fenn off to make a targeting choice a little tough on the opponent and try to get them near to the other side in similar time. Play it wrong and your Quad get shot apart. ;)
