So, I have seen things about this in the past, but the K-Wings are still gone.

How many months has it been? I want to get a K-Wing that's not $50 for crying out loud!

This is not intended to be a rant, but it is an honest question, why are they still out, or does no one know?

Intended to get one for a friend. That was at the end of May. Glad to hear I'm not the only one absolutely baffled by this.

I've been wanting to get one for a while, esp because it has EM. Someone at my flgs was quitting xwing and was selling his stuff at 1/2 price.

I lost rock paper scissors. It sucked.

Buuuuut, I did get a punisher and a starviper, both of which for half price, which would be cheaper than just getting the cards, and the viper is getting a fix anyway (though not at that point).

It's business. I don't like it either (decided I wanted a few more protectorates just as they disappeared) But casting and painting the ships takes time, and isn't a cheap production. FFG has to choose between new waves, and reprinting ships. New wave sell like crazy, reprints sell ok, but much better after the market has had some time to simmer. They also don't want to overprint and end up with unsold stock. So better to underproduce than over produce. Well see them again of course, but we'll probably be hearing about wave 12 before the K's are reprinted.

Yeah but it's been months since I last saw one being sold for regular price or less. Months.

Plus it's a pretty popular ship, it sold well when they were being sold.

Poplar ship? No, that's the Auzituck.

I think they've now finally been sent to the printer for reprint. They should come back into stock by the end of the year.

I don't know for sure; but I figured one reason they're holding back on the K-wing is so people would buy the Scurrg H-6 when it was finally released. Or at least something to that effect.

Kinda like the Y-wing where its difficult to find one stand alone Y-wing expansion now because they want people to purchase the Most Wanted expansion set instead.

I don't maybe I'm just guessing.

They just marked a whole slew of expansions as going for reprint, like a week ago. I don't think it's a Scurrg conspiracy theory thing, probably more that they didn't have a gap in their production timeline to fit in the reprints until now.

Like I said, just random guessing; but it wouldn't be surprise me if it was the case.

Had a few try to tell me that FFG was gonna phase out the K-wing and replace it with the new Cobalt super heavy bomber. Now that I don't believe at all.

Well if the Advanced SLAM nerf rumours are right that could be happening anyway...

If ffg were to stop making a certain ship, that would be extrodinarily unfair, as only those who bought it while it was still available would ever be able to use it.

I would rather have stat nerfing than that, and I think stat nerfing is a terrible idea.

I mostly agree and that they should keep making more of the K-wing; but I do like the idea of some other type of limited edition ships.

Nothing special or popular just some random light freighters and transports that are not really special they're just different.

I almost pulled the trigger on a $55 K-WING on eBay until I saw that the FFG website listed the K-Wing as "at the printer". Hope they get out soon. The Tantive IV looks like its in the same boat.

Hopefully in the trash where they belong.

Its funny. My bud, who just started Xwing, just picked up 3 K wings for only $65 online. I told him he was a lucky lucky man to get such a steal.

I actually found a new K-Wing at Barnescand Noble in the clearance bin for $9 2 weeks ago. I also have a new Phantom in the package looking to unload.

If there are no Ks in your area perhaps you should check for this expansion pack in other countries. Per example in Spain you can buy Ks and during my last trip to Burdeos I saw one dusty and lonely K there. Like finding a little kitten...
