Here is a picture to compare the Toad King miniature and his art. I know the print in the background is not so good, and it is the old card. I just used it to look at, when I sculpted the TK.

Some news on the Toad King.

I have ordered some resin that I should recieve tomorrow. I have made a new mould standing ready and if everything goes right, I should post some images of it here very soon.

Great Toad King news

I just made my first Toad King in resin and I am very impressed. Besides from some airbobles on the mushroom, every detail is there. I am sure I can fix the bobles with some more air channels in the mould.

I know it can be a little hard to see all the details on the picture due to the transparent color on the Toad King. I will soon paint him up, so it will be easier to see all the details.

Konrad... is there some limitation (that you feel comfortable mentioning) why you can't get a PayPal account? It is so nice for these sort of things. I bought one of Mr. B's first batch of T.K.s and was able to pay him with my USD transferred directly into his currency.

Mr. B... that resin looks like its working out nicely! Is it easier to work with... either in casting and/or painting?

The resin is taking longer time to harden, but the result is very good and there is no problem painting on it. The only hard thing is to avoid air bubles when casting, wich I can minimize but not completely remove.

The weight of the resin miniature is similar to the miniatures from Talisman, and that is pretty nice I think, although it is very cool having the heavy tin Toad King.

I was just reading the toad king rules a bit..

What happens if someone is standing already on the toad king space and drawing a magic object.

Must the toad king move first, or must he immediately be encounterd.

Hey Velhart, the answer is - "immediately be encounterd."

Example: If you stand on the same space as Toad King and aquire a magic objeckt + casting two spells, he will encounter you 3 times

There are two things in the rules that is not very clarified:

Who choses the direction for the Toad King if there are an equal number of spaces in either direction to the character ? . In our group we let the player who activated him chose the direction.
Who will he encounter if there are two or more characters on a space he lands on ? . In our group there is a bit of disagreement. I would say it is obvious that he encounters the one who activated him, but my group better like it to be randomised, so that is how we play it and that is also okey with me, as long there is an agreement.
