Oh, I hear you on that one, 3 ( going on 4 ) kids here... they are old enough to play these types of board games now, but still get a bit teary if things don't go their way ( unlike me of course )
Besides lamenting about our children mopping up our time, I actually have a relevant TK question for you.
We had a situation in the last game where the Wizard encountered another player in the Hidden Valley with TK in the Hills beside. Wizard cast a spell on the player and took a Magic Object, so you bet the TK hopped on over. My question is whether or not TK would have *2* encounters with the Wizard? We played it as one, and poor TK got squished *sob* so it was a moot point anyways. Also what about player 2, who isn't casting any magic, they don't encounter TK right?
What was funny was for the rest of the game when someone went to cast a spell, we automatically went to move him and then all nodded our heads in solemn respect for the squished King.
Wow inkblob, you must also have enough to do with three kids and soon four
- But good thing that some time still goes to Talisman.
It is first time I hear that the Toad King has been squised
About your TK quistion. There is some clarification that maybe should have been on the rule card.
- When Toad King lands in a space with two or more characters, he encouters the one that trickered him.
- When there is an equal number of spaces either way to the player who trickered him, that player choses what way he goes.
- When roling a #4 on the Toad King card the player choses the direction.
Hope that helped.
