100% agree. The main problem with the current meta is that sure, Heroes are winning slightly above Villains, but that is based off 2 decks (1 mainly): ePoe/eMaz & eHan/eRey. While you look at Villains who have a magnitude of different decks to be competitive: eVader/Raider, eVader/Guard, ePalp, eUnkar/FN/Guard, eBala/FN/Guard, ePhasma/FO Trooper/Guavian, eVader/eKylo, eVader/eFN, eJabba/eDooku, eIg-88/FN, & eDooku/eAsajj.

There's some heavy hitters in their arsenal as well for such efficient point costs.

That's the problem that apparently FFG can't get. They need to focus on creating a bunch of 12-15 point cost characters so that way the meta can be so diverse. They're so focused on creating a 7-22 range cost, it's stupid. Let us create a bunch of fun combos, so we can play and be competitive. Not just, okay Heroes you get these 2 decks and Villains you can have these 10 decks...ready, set, go!

You talk about heavy hitters but Baze with overkill is rocking our area. I can kill a character turn one about 65% of the time

I like Baze. I don't think he's tier 1 tho. eBaze/eSnap is pretty dangerous. eBaze/Chirruit is surprisingly good too. eBaze/eMaz is fun. Though I'd consider those decks Tier 1.5/2.0 at best.

And with Overkill, that's both of your resources, so unless you're getting more to use his 3 range/1 resource and always rolling the +3 modify side, I don't see it hitting that hard to knock out one of the emoTwins. And all it takes is 1 dice mitigation card. He's good, just not super good.

Honestly am I the only one who thinks that ALL of the 2 dice 16 and the 2 dice 14 point characters are currently struggling? Even the ones that arent considered "bad" arent exactly jumping out and making a splash right now, Leia has super consistent dice, but isnt seeing play, less because of her and more because there is no 14 point character to really pair her with. Same with Chewie, even the villains are currently suffering for this a little right now with Jango and Veers no longer making much of a splash. From what I can tell its just these hyper efficient low cost characters. FN and unkar at 10/13, Kylo at 10/13, Rey at 9/12, snap at 9/12 or Maz at 8/11 or Bala at 8/11, just give them an expensive character and then one of these hyper efficient characters or a 3 character list using 1 mid level and a couple cheap or a bunch of fairly cheap and it just seems to push out the 14, 15 and 16 point characters even if they are fairly costed, maybe we just need better mid level pairings to help out people like Chirrut cus honestly if we had a 14 point character with hyper consistent range sides and good health he might actually not be to bad.... another example is if they made that ahsoka that we have seen with 2 strong sides and the rest meh sides and still made her only 16 points Mothma's added consistency could see good play, I think Leia might see some play with 2 Rookie pilots because of her hyper consistent ranged sides they have modifiers but she could easily activate them.
