If you have two faceup damage cards with the same effect, is the effect double up?

Say its the two damage cards that gives a damage if you reveal a command dial, is the effect double up?

I ask because then boarding enginers can really ruin ones day or your opponents if he/she is in the receiving end of the affair

Yes. Resolve one Fully, then resolve the other fully.

Halve your Engineering with one... Including th enecessary rounding.

Then Halve the remainder again.

That is also what I thought, even the odds is very unlikely, but getting two Projector misaligned, would strip away shields from two hull zones, is really a gut/sucker punch to get
