I really think Pod says the true about his role. And likely about his alignment.
It means that before his claim some scum trying to lynch him seems plausible and probable. He made it easy indeed.
Then he finally claimed a role whose utility to town I don't see clearly. Yes, he can protect someone, but blocking him. He could block scum too, right but do we know if we get a result of someone being attacked at the morning if he was protected by the alien? Cause if not, he is a scum weapon right now. He is more probable to block a townie. He could be killed by scum anyway. Strongman, redirections, there are several things that makes Pod not a problem to scum. We don't know if they have all, one or any of those options but they do. So, after he claimed I can imagine scum unvoting.
From all the Pod stuff that is all I can get right now. Pod and Truth as not scum.
However Truth is confusing cause other reasons. The tenacity with he keeps his vote on someone contrast with the poor reason (IMO) that makes him change his vote.

For PodRacer, I do think if anything all his vaguebooking has been detrimental in eating up our precious time and I don't really have anyone else that I'm suspicious of at the moment, but there is time yet. Haha funny that the person I'm most suspicious of is 50/50 maybe not scum but 3rd party instead.
Another thing that occurs to me - if Pod isn't scum, and the scum wish to be rid of him, the easiest thing would be to hammer him in the day, not night-kill him, 'cause that would waste a potential one-shot (someone mentioned strongman).

As several of us have mentioned, Pod's greatest harm to town is the enormous waste of time his delaying has brought upon us. We must decide if we are to lynch somebody else, whom that person will be. We have just barely a day left. We should get to it. Another aspect of the focus on Pod is that not enough has been said about other people to form a true suspicion of anybody else.
