That was a pretty awesome game of brinkmanship and shifting dangers that Moodswing played! He popped my Comm Nav flotilla in the nick of time to keep a critical nav token off of my ISD, throwing off my whole groove for the rest of the game. Very, very well played sir!

we played my contested outpost, it was going well until I got over confident with my mega pickle and then Villa external racked it to death in one turn. From there we were both chasing each other's heavily damaged ships, his foresight got away from my corvette and my hammerhead somehow survived his YT2400s
final score 280 for me, 333 for Villa so a 6-5 to villa.
note to self, MC80s are not invincible

The no-squad vs squad battle from Rearadmiralsdoitinspace VS Tokra is over.
We were playing my Fire Lanes (yes, Fire Lanes without strategic).
I won 10-1 with a MOV of 400.
Even when the result does not show it, it was a really close match.
After round 4 it was ~350 MOV and we called it here, because it was worthless to go on and just slaughter the transports. In the end it would have been a 550 - 25 or something (2*3 Victory tokens in turn 5 and 6). So no need to go on.
It was close, because the only question was: Does my ISD die before his MC80. This one question decided everything.
In the end the ISD did a brutal shot with 8 hits (one crit) and one accuracy on the MC80 with red defense tokens (hello Mr. Avenger....). My own ISD was down to 6 hull, and would not have survived another broadside from the MC80.
The Logfile is from start of turn 2.
I just moved my Gozanti out of the fire arc from the MC80 with the fixed double accuracy. It might be that Rearadmiral has one log that is a bit better.
The brutal hammering of the squadrons, starting already in turn one, were nasty. The Endeavor lost the first defense tokens already in turn 1. And after this is became even worse. It was down to 2 hull in turn 2. There were only the squadrons that ripped the MC80 Battle cruiser in 3 turns (2 + one Stele/Jendon attack). All it could do was kill one Gozanti and do a long range shot on the ISD at speed 0 with 6 red dice (5+concentrate fire). For evil 5 damage. But sadly no crit. Parking the ISD with speed 0 was really good when i am looking back now.
After this the Home One and Avenger fought it out. Even when the squadrons did more damage than the ISD...
The final attack in turn 4 from the ISD finished the second MC80 (the Home One). After this there were only the 3 transports left. And two would have died as well. But as i said, this is boring and pointless to play it out.
It was a really nice game, and i am a bit sad that the result does not reflect the quality of this match.
Rearadmiral was a really nice opponent and i hope to play against him again.

Here's a link to a folder with all my log files for this tournament. This game kind of went out I expected. I set up to park Hammerheads in the front arc of the MC80 and try to kill it before the CR90s killed them. One thing I learned from this that flying low-hull ships that are front-arc centric like Hammerheads is a lot harder than flying side-arc ships like MC30s. With Leia, Spinal, and Gunnery team, doing multiple shots with 3 or 4 reds and a reroll will take its toll with average rolls. But if the side arcs get exposed, they go down fast.
It was a lot of fun playing with @Paindemic7708, a friendly opponent to work out the Vassal rust.
