I really don't understand why no one of the two say something, even when you call them with @ so often.

I must consider this. I had not anticipated a sudden failure to schedule. Not at this point.

To be honest, I'm fine with whatever outcome. I didn't get a chance to win big last game, so that's just the way the cookie crumbles.

Neither @Matt Antilles nor @itzSteve made any attempt to reach the TO or otherwise communicate that the game had be cancelled/postponed until AFTER the deadline, despite several attempts to elicit a response.

As I said I'm very unhappy about this turn of events.

But I cannot understand why nether of you replied when asked if the game had taken place?

There was no indication either way. Had it been played? Had it not been played? Would it be played? Did you need an extension? Nothing.

Clearly most of the blame lies with Matt, but why not get in touch when you knew everyone was waiting for you?

As an alternative solution, if you both agree and can schedule a game VERY quickly, I suggest an elimination game before you and @JJs Juggernaut (like he already suggested).

I suppose that is up to Matt. I had no part in any of this, other than to be ready to play last Thursday. If you want to get things moving, I have no problem with JJ taking the game. He will probably be better competition against Roquax anyways. I am sorry you are so unhappy about the situation. I have never defaulted in any tourney I have participated in since I started playing this game, but I understand and accept the situation as is.

I must say that my real frustration is that there are no winners in this situation.

Roquax deserves to know his matchup.

You very much deserve a fair chance to beat JJ's very poor MoV.

JJ deserves a fair shot since he actually played through a very hard game with low chance of actually getting a high MoV.

The rest of the players deserve that things move forward.

The TO really, really didn't want a situation like. I did not anticipate it. And I was away for Nationals the entire weekend and had no time to monitor the progress properly.

So unhappiness all around.

All very valid points. Let's just call it the trials and tribulations of being the great TO that you are and move forward. I will take the non scheduled match penalty and call it a lesson learned to keep the TO in the loop in the future. Good luck to JJ and Roquax.
