Forgot to come post our results, I've been so busy with work. @SilentSteve and I played last Wednesday. I won, (366-0) we played my Solar Corona.

I killed everything except Steve's Gozanti, and he had my Biggsball about to collapse, but not quite; so, he didn't get any squadrons. Both Assault Frigates were hurting but just short of dying. It was a fun, intense game, with a good opponent.

Well @Rearadmiralsdoitinspace won with an MoV of 100. We played his minefields and I deployed poorly with My MC80 off to one side. I caused damage, he repaired it. His flotillas led a charmed life with all but one just surviving. I lost two CR90bs and a scout hammerhead.

Blimey - that was a marathon and a half.

The battle of the super pickles ended up with - shock horror given all the defensive refits they've got - all the super pickles still on the table. Definitely a game where comms-netting for fun and profit helped me no end, and slightly mitigated @Dr alex's manoeuvrability advantage (and general greater skill level).

Good game with the good doctor, and what Armada's supposed to be about: big ships chucking lots of dice at each other, with nary a silly little starfighter in sight.

Maybe this is already posted in this thread but where are these games being streamed?

Unofficially, of course, but by my accounting, yes.

Always assuming you don't win your qualifiers and qualify that way, which would pass the wildcard down to the next unqualified contender.

Hmmm... should have thought about this more. Was really hoping for win last night as I didn't fancy my squadron-less super-pickle fleet facing @Tokra and his Sloane-infused ball of fighters again. So now it looks like I'm facing @Gilad Pellaeon... and his Sloane-infused ball of fighters. Yay :-(
