One shotted @rasproteus's MC30 with an opening Salvo 7 dice MC30 shot. A casual 9 damage including a crit.

My investment in vodka continued to pay dividends today as both shots against Avenger fell flat, then Sloane's well-trained fighter crews repaid pillows with steel, shutting out both brace and redirect on Adar's frigate. We called it at the end of round 4, as we were both just disengaging anyway.

After a rather surprising set of last minute scheduling issues came up for both of us, I'm voluntarily conceding my match vs @BrobaFett. We hope to play this game out in a casual match soon when things settle down, as we were both looking forward to it.

It was time for the great East Midlands Derby, Northampton versus their bitter local rivals - Leicester Tigers. Northampton won.

but that was not the only East Midlands Derby this weekend, no there was another. Northampton A played Leicester A and beat them as well. 2-0 for Northampton on Derbies.

but they were not the only two East Midlands derbies this weekend(ish). Northampton, represented by Dr Alex's not as good as his euro list Ackbar and friends list played Bedford represented by @Ginkapo and his much derided by @Ginkapo Sato list. The lines were drawn, most wanted was the objective, Northampton had the initiative. Would Northampton win all three Derbies in the space of 3 days.

as Gink has spoilt it, yes they did. Gink flew right down my throat, gold squadron were on the same form they were at Yavin IV and failed to kill a corvette with no shields and 1 hull point, as did tycho, which stopped Gink from blowing away 3 of my corvettes in one turn, in turn, my MC80 managed a slash and took out the surviving MC30 and sato's hammerhead in one activation. Then Gink's pretty rubbish bombers failed to scrag my remaining, battered hammerhead before it ran away.

Final score 288-120 to Dr Alex, 8-3
