GK what is the deadline for this round of games? Cactus and I are tentatively scheduled for next week, but I am also committing to a CC AOA right now and I want to make sure I will have time to complete all the games needed of me.

Wednesday. So you have exactly 1 week left.

The match I want to watch is @GiledPallaeon VS @Roquax, since these appear to be some of the most dominant metas and are both 10-1 winners. One a high activation Gallent Haven Biggs Ball and the other a Sloane threesome with all the super friends. It should be the match of the round.

Apologies for the late notification, but that match is currently scheduled to start in about half an hour. It was going to be tomorrow, but my personal schedule was violently rearranged, so it's tonight.

Awesome,kindly get a log going!

Cactus vs BrobaFett is tentatively scheduled for Monday, September 11th, at 10:30am California time.

Updates from the end of round 3, it's not pretty, for the Imperials.

@Roquax has the log, and he was a commendable opponent, polite and skilled. In the end, my Contested Outpost was the only thing between me and a devastating 10-1 (his favor), instead a 9-2 at 400-119 (still his favor), with Roquax a whisker out of CO range on the turn he tabled me. Good game, and thanks for the tips.

Double Down75 vs Silent Steve

7-4 win for Double Down, very polite competitor and patient with my newness to vassal. My MC80 with XI7 was a very tough match up for his Arqs, they really missed having a brace. Thank you Steve for a great game! I have a log file but it appears to be too large to attach

skycake wins over JP82729

303-122

181 mov, 8-3

You'll have to do it through Dropbox or Google Drive.

I need the Margin of Victory!

(otherwise the minimum MoV for that bracket will be applied)

Ard vs Matt Antilles tomorrow at ~1930PST/2130CST. Exact start time will be determined by my ten-month-old, so subject to change. :)

@itzSteve vs. @Undeadguy should be kicking off tonight at roughly 6pm California time in case anyone cares...:D

Undeadguy vs @itzSteve

Undead win 339 - 123. Played @itzSteve's Contested Outpost

This was a game of mix/max dice rolls. I had the max, itzSteve had the min. Steve put the station in the midst of asteroid and debris field to screen my approach while allowing him access to it from round 1. It was a good strategy since it forced me to deploy in lanes to run through the gaps. My Vic II and 2 Comms Net went up the middle, Insidious to the west, and Demo wide to the East. I was attempting to catch any ship since Madine is very hard to wrangle into a confined space. I was somewhat successful. Steve deplyed BH, Comms Net, and GH/Madine to go after the station. Admo was slightly East of GH and inside my Demo approach. The Lib faced down Insidious, which is a 1v1 I cannot win.

Round 1 we stocked up on tokens and moved. Not a very interesting round and I think we finished in under 20 minutes.

Round 2 had Insidious sitting at long range of the Lib, but I knew round 3 would put it at close range, but I also set up Demo to go first against Admo, followed by the Vic to go second and finish off Admo with a DC+CF attack. I ended up pulling Insidious up and away from the Lib and put it fairly close to the west edge of the board. I think GH also rammed Comms Net in this round. Our squads engaged, and the Vic moved forward to have shots on 3 or 4 ships.

Round 3. I ended up going with Insidious first because I knew this would be my only attack on the Lib with it. 5 dice with 7 damage+APT lead to the Lib discarding a Brace from the crit, and stripping 2 sides of shields. It was a good start of the round for me. Steve went with BH in an attempt to kill Ciena and escape the Vic front arc which also had Jonus there to kill the flot. Ciena ended up living with 1 hull and a brace. Demo went next since my front was at close range of Admo. I rolled max damage on the initial attack. 2 Red doubles, 2 hit/crits. Not sure why I was rolling to hot. Admo ended up taking 6 damage and the "discard dial or suffer damage" crit. My second attack rolled 5 damage into the same side, but I opted to OE 2 to get the hit/crit to kill Admo, and pulled 2 blanks for a grand total of 1 damage after the token discard. Admo survived with 3 hull and 3 shields on 1 zone. Quite the opening attack. Admo went next, hit Demo with 5 damage and a structural, and zoomed off to avoid the Vics front arc and Demos rear close arc, all thanks to Madine. I thought the Vic might have a chance, so it went next and used DC+CF against Admo. Rolled 1 hit and 2 crits, which was negated by Evade/discard. Admo suffered 1 hull damage. The Vic did manage to kill Comms Net because it had suffered the ram the round earlier. The Lib killed one of my Comms Net and choked against the Vic, rolling a hefty 1 damage after defense tokens. GH attacked Demo with ER for 2 damage after defense tokens, dropping Demo to near death. I think it had 1 shield and 2 hull left. I won CO with the Vic rolling over the station, bullying Steve's ships away.

Round 4. I tried to kill Admo with the Vic, but dealt 1 damage leaving Admo with 1 hull. The Vic also nailed GH pretty hard, stripping 2 hulls and dealing 2 damage. Admo went next, but Steve forgot to increase speed to 4 and ended up in Demo's double arc, which happened to be a Glad II. Demo went and rolled 2 blanks. Admo would get to survive with 1 hull. I remembered why I never bother trying to kill that ship. I don't think much else happened. Steve was trying to get his ships away from the Vic. Insidious was coming into another attack run on Madine, since I forced him to turn west. Demo was also chasing Madine. I realized after my move I shouldn't have attacked twice at Admo since I could have killed Madine this round. I won CO.

Round 5. I don't really remember what happened this round. Insidious was set up to attack Madine. Demo was set up to swing around and attack the Lib. I lost my other Comms Net. BH escaped. I won CO. Jonus gritted his teeth and screamed over to the Lib.

Round 6. I think Steve made the mistake of running his Lib into Demo, but it was a hard call. Either risk my dice, or suffer the debris field and asteroids, and then the Vic gets to hammer it. Demo went with a CF. I think I rolled 6 damage and Jonus'd into an Acc to lock down that single Brace. Pulled a Comms Noise and changed the Libs dial to a squad. The Lib went to 2 hull and Demo ran off. At this point, Steve had the impossible choice of sacrificing Madine to Insidious, or trying to roll hot with the Lib to kill the Vic. If it were my choice, I'd go with the Lib, which is also what he did. First attack hit for 7, but with ECM, Steve opted to not use H9 and instead added dice via QTC and rerolled them. Brace to 4, and Redirect left 1 shield and 3 hull damage on the Vic. Steven opted not to take a side arc at it since the Vic would not die. Rather, Jonus but the bullet. The Lib was able to evade the Vics double arc, so there was hope it could survive a side arc. However, Insidious had long range out the front, and Madine at close in the side. Madine died easily to the side arc, and Insidious rolled 2 hits and an Acc out the front, which exactly killed the Lib. The Vic dropped to speed 0 to maintain the station.

It was a good game. Steve had excellent positioning of his ships, but could not get the damage to kill my ships. I think the Lib dealt a total of 7 damage over 4 rounds to the Vic, which was left with 5 hull at the end. Also doesn't help when I roll max or near max damage several times.

Ard vs @Matt Antilles paused on Round 4, with plans to finish up tomorrow at 2PST/4CST. Playing my Blockade Run after I chose to go second, the two massive squadron balls clashed in rounds 2 and 3, with several localized tactical victories on very narrow margins rolling into a major squadron sweep for the Empire. The death count right now is:

Matt has killed Soontir, Black, and an Interceptor

Ard has killed Biggs, 5 X-wings, and Jan

As the flashes of the fighter battle begin to die down and the capital ships close to close broadside range, Bright Hope nearly dies to an remarkable shot from Avenger's flank gunnery teams, and is saved only by its fame... but it's still coordinated enough to scatter incoming fire, and is well-positioned to escape unscathed. Meanwhile, Admiral Sloane's flagship has fallen right into Ackbar's devious... snare... and is about to get ripped into by at least one, possibly two devastating broadsides, with likely little to show for it.

The arrogant Sloane, of course, is flagrantly disregarding the safety of her crew. An Avenger bridge crew member who asked to remain anonymous reports that she could be seen pacing the bridge and yelling "keep firing, as$holes!" as the shields collapsed around her. Her task force's attached escort carrier and Gozanti tender are both in critical status as well, with shields failing throughout the task force.

The Admiral will likely face an operational review board upon her return to Coruscant, as she seems preoccupied entirely with the success of her disposable TIE escort at the expense of her much more valuable ships of the line.

Meanwhile Admiral Ackbar fires all his gunners for their horrendous performance thus far. We'll see if the second batch of them can shoot any better haha.

The ISB strikes again! We sent over several cases of Dathomiri vodka last night as a gesture of imperial good will.

I can't disclose my sources, but I have good intel that the guy who made the dice roller is a giant *******!!!!
