Imperials got the best Epic upgrades to add to Epic ship builds in this wave, IMO. Really fun stuff!! Sure, competitively Imps lost ground to the Scum and Rebels in this Wave as FFG's drive to extinguish Imperial power in the national and world tournaments continue --despite local game stores having a smattering of Imperial winning lists. But if you wish to fly Imps with an actual ability to perform equal to or even have a better than good shot at victory, focus on Epic, forget 100/6. Wave 11 brought Imps some great and fun tools. Otherwise, fly OP Scum or NPE Rebels....it's simply the new unbalanced X-Wing.
There is Imperial happiness in Wave 11
Epic is love, epic is life ! ![]()
Sometimes with friends we do epic battle and do not underestimate the tie swarm on epic game !
Tie agressor can have fun on escalation tournament too.
... So what did they get? Don't play Epic so dunno.

Haven't got to play with the goodies yet, but Minefield Mapper is a big one for me. Something the Punisher can do an do before dying. Also a boost with forever missiles and forever bombs, and of course the much-lamented TLT.
The TIE/ag is meh, but the new possibilities with upgrades are awesome.

Yes, unlimited bombs and mapper are the easy ones as it really bends and can break an Epic in your favor quickly, but the other stuff: Unlimited rockets and Lightweight Frame on TIE Bombers is actually really good in Epic. Also, TIE Advanced Prototypes with Title and a Cruise Missile are sweet little cheap ships with a real bite in Epic. And, hate to say it, barrel rolling TLT Lightweight Frame Agressors are also great in Epic. However, these all suffer greatly against the new Scum and Reb hotness. ☹️
Cutlass squadron Pilot
-Minefield Mapper
-Cluster Mines x2
You can fit 10 of them in an epic list...
Intensity can be quite useful too: whilst it's not great in 'normal' games for imperials, a Saber with Intensity and Autothrusters fits within 25 points (something Push The Limit is a point too expensive to do). Being able to hit the gas, boost, and still have tokens means a pack of Sabers can be in your face on turn 1, and at PS4 can lay down enough fire en masse to rip apart lower-level generics in front of them, whilst being largely resilient to turret fire coming in from the sides.

What does 100/6 mean?
100 points, 6 obstacles - i.e. what most people consider "a normal game".

And what the rest of us consider "sub par."

YUP... ![]()
I played with some nasty aggressor escorts with Jonus, complete with a couple of TIE-Ds.... Scary ****
I don't know, Sure they got Breach Specialist but so did everyone else.
As for CR-90s they did alright with Wookie Commandos.
........ WAIT TLT IS A SECONDARY WEAPON. DOH
imo, the biggest happiness of wave 11 for imps is that Tie/D Ion Cannons have a new reason for being
shuts down bombs pretty decently, they do

You know what, I typed out something incredibly snide. I erased it. I wish people would stop quantifying fun. Each person has their own expectations. I am starting to hate the smack talk "casual" players constantly throw around at people that enjoy a competitive game. I'm starting to see more and more of it along with Nerf threads and the game is only NPE. Starting to make me wonder why I even bother with this forum any more.
In the end I just wanted to know what epic upgrades you all were talking about. Glad to see spamming stuff is the answer still :/

Go read a little SaltMaster 5000, where he talks about casual playtesters ruining the game because they submit useless data to FFG, and don't care or don't understand about 100/6, the One True Form of the game. Then we can meet somewhere in the middle.
Also, the scare-quotes were in there to show the statement was tongue-in-cheek.
Lastly, this was a thread for supporting casual-style enthusiasm, so I was pandering to my perceived audience.

I can said that for competitive game too. Remember when a article said if you can't stay on competitive game go play Heartstone ? I remember that !
The thing I hate about some players on competitives is their "elite tone" : How dare you said this list will not break the meta because that why I think and I always right ! How dare you enjoy a non meta list you can't be serious. Look I beat you easily go play another game !
My favorite is when a new ship coming and said this will never be meta and later become meta (tie/sf ?) and you casual player you play with it because you like it.
So yeah enjoy your game like I did but don't said only one side bash for fun the other side when they do the same thing !
I believe saltmaster is just one of the past trolls we have had with a new persona. Using him as reference is nothing of note. I just wish people would play the game with out name calling one another for enjoying a different aspect of it. That goes for the competitive side too, but I have seen a bigger influx of casual players badgering the competitive side as not playing the game to have fun. Just gets tiring.
As someone that would like to play epic more but can't because my opponents usually don't have the 3+ hours (you might play faster than this but the few games I have played it's gone to at least 3 hours) to sit for a single game, I tend to not see it very often. These subjects do interest me but I tend to lose interest in a OP that is so antagonistic. And sadly all you have added is to state you can now spam bombs which isn't new knowledge.

If you don't have time for epic (I can understand that), then I can heartily recommend mission-based games. Timewise, most take about the same time as a 'normal' tournament rules game, but they're different challenges.
We did get some new stuff for that, too. Outer Rim Raid is quite an interesting scenario.
A lot of talk has been about ways to abuse Mine Mapper - min/maxing Cluster Mines and filing up the board etc.
But it occurs to me that just one Punisher with Clusters could essentially be used to close off part of the map, funneling ships towards your list or making your opponent's approach play that much more difficult. Even if we ignore mine spam, it still has possibilities for board and movement control.

This is what mapper is for I think, creating interesting missions that hinge on a player throwing a new angle to the whole thing before play starts, that's the best mission add in this Wave for sure, along with cruise missiles and TIE Bomber Rockets. But the game didn't need more TLT, though in Epic, the Aggressor can be the ship it's advertised as skimming at a Raider's wing/aft.
100/6 gets the Scum and Rebels punching it out to bomb lists to submission before anyone moves; as the Wookiee thing stops competitive play and ushers in final salvo as a real list building strategy, which is very rational, but sucks; one turn Yahtzee it'll become.
