So this fun little list is intended to really screw around with enemy fighter wings, and then also punish no-squad fleets severely via Sloane shenanigans.

Thanks to Flight Controllers, all of the squadrons also roll at least one blue die against squads when activated.

This is woefully lacking in ship punch. If you run into a list with strong antifighter and a heavy hitter, you're gonna hurt.

My local meta tends to be one or the other. This wouldn't be my pick at a tournament, but it might be fun to see how it fares against certain local opposition.

Yeah, this. Don't get me wrong, I'm curious how this fares against the usual suspects, but especially against a lot of dreadnought style lists I can't see this killing much at all for a pretty severe thrashing in return.

It was possible to do a list without ship attack when the you used bombers with bomber command centers.

With Sloane Ties (Fighter, Interceptor, Defender) you are lacking the punsh to get through the big ships.
I would always add a Demolisher, ISD or Interdictor with DC. Something that can finish the ships that you damaged with the squadrons.

I am as well a fan of Stele+Jendon against ships. You can remove two defender and add stele + one more Tie Interceptor for the same cost. It might look worse, but you will gain a lot when it comes to ship damage.

Edit: And the titel is really a bad choice. Using one of the worst comic plots (imo) as a reference for the titel for your list is missleading .

How do you kill anything? What does Sloane dò? You cannot brace 1 bomber hit or even evade it.

The goal is to immediately remove any enemy squadrons, then win on VP objectives. When the squadrons are gone, I can agonist instantly engage and focus down light ships while the ships bug out in all directions.
