So I know the Stele open has officially ceased to be. Things I was wondering...

What happened to make the person running it, stop? I never got a chance to go but what was great about it? I've heard it was one of the more fun events, why? Anyone have any positive/negative experiences from it?

If someone knows more then i do then please correct me. Rumor has it it was a vendor issue that came up. This is all i know.

If memory serves, the organizer had the date saved, then the venue booked a wedding for the same day. There was a willingness by the venue to move one of the events, but at a significant cost. With the Stele Open running at a loss as it was, the organizer decided to cancel.
