So it seems the new bombers/gunships are coming, likely with a crew slot so we can have Paige Tico, as she is a gunner on one of these craft. Her sister Rose Tico is a technician and featured in The Last Jedi.

So, Cobalt Squadron Pilot, as a ship with crew and Definately Paige Tico as crew are my guess.

Gunners arnt crew. They're too busy gunning to do crew things, just like pilots. See any ship with a turret or non-firespray alt arc.

I AM aware of that, however, since these ships are really big and Have at least one pilot, two gunners and likely another crew, it makes sense. Add in a named crew member, Paige Tico and her Technician sister Rose, it makes sense to have a crew slot.

By the above reasoning, if gunners aren't crew, why do we have a crew card called Gunner? Also, the Luke Skywalker crew card, which is him in the Millennium Falcon's Gunwell.

On one hand, that's cool and I like these things.

On the other hand, why in the world do these book covers always look so awful?

really looking forward to large base bombers. bombers are always bigger than fighters for payload room, and in x-wing it the opposite. the biggest toughest ships are all civilian frieghters. love to see this thing as a fast but predictable tank, no ept. maybe 3/0/8/6 with focus, TL, and re-enforce? joust then bomb as one trick pony, or build as support ship. ps1 for 35, ps6 for 50 with a stress removal ability. title to roll an extra dice out auxilary arc. fair because with a front and rear arc its vulerable to arc dodgers and limited dial would telegraph you choices?

Everything about this ship screams someone dropped a Nebulon B model, it cracked in half, and they put the front on a peg after touching up the damage. #theworst

Ofc we the rebs will get their gunner crew even if it contradicts the logic previously established. They are the hero faction, they must get everything. The new upgrade will probably be dirt cheap and super effective an all rebel ships.

Imperials on the other hand were made to suffer. That's our lot in life.

Are you talking about the copy-pasted bombers on the top background? Could have worked, but those ships look like they're asymmetrical, so mirroring them doesn't work. Rushed deadline, perhaps?

Wait, the 2 red stars in the top right corner weren't enough to convince you otherwise? Once I saw them it totally changed my view of the image.

The 3 concept ships from TFA that they didn't use all looked way better than this thing.

Still, at least Rebels get an actual new ship, instead of just a recolored old one.

Love the way it looks! the a-wing is quick, maneuverable, and light, so it looks like a darty little fish.

Jumpmasters are shitey so they look like toilet seats, etc.

This thing is some sort of ordinance lobbing meat fortress, so making it a battering ram with a keel seems legit

I'm super excited for this book- and this is the first that I'm hearing about it. Basically anything about the starfighters has me intrigued.

Also! When posting pictures from a desktop, browser, you can right click on the image and change the size. I would _really_ appreciate it if you would keep the pictures at roughly where @wurms has the pictures in their post.

Sorry about the size. I am limited by my phone. Until I go back to college, All I have is my phone, and half the time it doesn't work right with posts.

I am glad to be able to let you know about the books. I'm excited too, and really like the look of these lumbering, vertical layout ships.
