I participated in my first store championship (and first tournament) two weeks ago with the following list:

Did fairly well with the list ending up doing 3-1. I was happy with how the defenders performed but not really with Inquisitor. I felt that it was challenging keeping him relevant in the game without making him the soft target the opponent would go after first.

I'm now tempted to try out our new Tie Aggressor. My plan is to use it as a flanker and use the spare points to make my defender even thougher. So I came up with this list:

Haven't got my aggressor yet so haven't tried it out yet. Still happy to hear your thoughts about the list.

The Agressor is going to be an even softer targrt for your opponent than the Inquisitor was. Those Defenders are quite beastly though...

Yeah I don't understand how the Aggressor will be 'better', per se. I mean, by all means, give it a go, but basically, Inquisitor IS a flanker. So by your title, you plan to use the aggressor in that same role, but I really don't see how its going to do a better job than a PS 8 ship that has a very accurate gun and ignores autothrusters...

Like blade said, Inquisitor is a great flanker. Able to go through rocks with ease and cancel that range bonus and autothrusters. Was great for me during store champs, particularly because we have a lot of Dash around here.
