My main problem is week days, now that school started

Had done a set up for the top but @GhostofNobodyInParticular 's is looking great!

This game is going to be nuts, 16 ships 18 squads for the Imps, 16 ships 21 squads for the Rebels. :blink:

I can't do anything Saturday night or Sunday morning till approximately 11 am GMT+1, but otherwise I am free.

Weekends through the next month are totally out of the question for me as we have numerous weddings that we are apart of :(

So it looks like we need to figure it out

@Visovics do any week night work for you?

@BrobaFett What will the stiation be like next month?

Everybody? do we have choice of takign a day off and just gettiugn it done?

Any other ideas?

Next month for me is a bit of an issue, though Friday nights should still be free. I will also be unavailable the night of the 29th of this month.

We could try doing it Friday nights. . . Are you busy then too @BrobaFett ?

If worst comes to worst, we may need to postpone it for a while. . . :(

Weekends are always super spotty for me, at least before about 10pm which is a super inconvenient for Dorrin at very least, and would be 5am GMT.

I am free weekdays after 2pm gmt any day, including Friday, other than next friday when we are leaving for an out of town wedding. Other wedddings are in town so no overnight needed and my fridays are open.

I have work at 11 pm GMT every Friday so I need to be done by 10:30 or so at the latest. Depending on start time I might be able to push things around so I could stay till 10:45 or so.

So I coudl start at 6:30 gmt on Friday nights and play till 10? does that work for epople? @PodRacer

That means I would be playing from 8:30 till 12. It may work for me, for this month at least, though 8:30 may be a bit too early. Should this game continue into next month (as it very well may) I'd have to start at 8ish GMT and could finish at 12 GMT.

At any rate, 8 to 10 GMT every Friday (other than this Friday for Broba) seems to be a decent time slot for all.

And I am not the 29th. . . and Broba isn't the 15th. . . well fudge.

Vis has issues with any day but the weekend, and Broba has issues only with the weekend.

Is there any time this week where we can at least deploy? Maybe we can end up playing like people used to play board games by post. We have a common logfile (after deployment), and each of us activates as we are able - say, Broba activates his ship on Thursday, and fires on mine. He saves the log, and publishes it here. When I can, I then open it, spend my tokens, and take the damage (he mentions what cards he uses when he saves it, I mention how I dealt with the damage when I do), then republish the log file. He then completes his movement, and the next person goes. Then, if we ever find a date when we are all available, we go on to play for however long we can.

It's a cumbersome method, but it may work. . . what do you all think?

I'm off to work in a bit, hopefully if my boss left the Rotas about I will have my availability for the next 6 weeks to hand.

evenings of the 15th and 22nd, unavailable, otherwise available each evening till the 24th.

25th onwards (draft rota, subject to change) unavailable evenings 26and 28 sept, 3/8/10/13 oct.

So they way our shceudles are I think we have some options

Scarp the AOA and go back to playign one on oen to finishd her out.

Defer to who ever can play and get advice via forums etc

Keep the game open for the next month and just play whenever we can get on.

Of those, I prefer the last two, and most the 3rd. What do you think of the option I laid out above? Too cumbersome?

Well I think if we get help from the forusm we can keep one accoutn in the game at all times. That way just keep it open rather than messing with log files. But if we do a periodice save every so often

Option above is quite cumbersome im told, iv mentioned it before in a tournament thread, it wasnt well recieved.

I cant talk on behalf of my teammates, but we decided AOA was our best option at this point.

Therefore scrapping it is out.

So we either delegate the command of the entire fleet to 1 member of the respective team, or we try rotating commands to keep 2 accounts (1 from each team) in it at all times, with full command of the combined fleet, which is essentially the previous option with rotations. I would think that 1 commander would be easier, but rotations may be fairer.

So perhaps we delegate pairs, like a normal battle, the first meets, plays what it can, saves and publishes the logfile, and then the next pair continues from where it left off?

@Dorrin314 and @BrobaFett take a wacky european holiday :)

With schedules how they are I think that passing off control of fleets to other teammates is the best call.

Part of the fun of the AOA is the planing and playing with teammates so I would like to try to find day(s) where multiple people from the same team can be on.

Basically with how our schedules are looking: 1 is ok, 2 is good, 3 is great.
