Rebels win an all round slug fest. Fighter defense was chosen. A jj Vic survived an ackbar assault Friday broad side only to wiff on one shoting it at black range.

The cr90 got veteran status on my side with a YT 1300 being killed.

Scarred were

Mc30

Salvation

Generic neb which dies every round

Imps lost all ships and boobfett as well as gamma and a tie interceptor I believe. Not sure what squads got vet

The squad casulaties were: Tempest, generic bomber, Boba, generic advanced.

That was a great game to play, tense at all moments, specially when Salvation somehow managed to make me roll a black blank from the advanced and then an accuracy from the Defender provided by the objective. I think Vassal made a tradition that any face off I have with the vic at close range must result in awful dice rolls so that both ships survive for longer. I still can't believe on how many bombers the mc30-salvation flak combo took out

Thank you, awesome is not enough to describe the microdetails we had to see for shield dial overlaps and double arcs getting in by a hair, it was EPIC!

@PodRacer and I shall commence our game at 8 PM GMT+1 today.

You will be in good company, @Dorrin314 and I are also going to be playing today, starting at about GMT 6PM (11 am Pacific, 1pm central) unless I got some wire crossed.

Hopefully I can pop in a look as these may be the final battles of the campaign.

So I end up taking the game with a MoV of 312-275

Rebel Scarred: Defiance, Yavarris, Garel's Honor, BCC Transport, 2x X Wings, 2x B Wings

Rebel Vet: Norra

Imperial Scarred: Vet Arq (Alpha), Arq (Beta), both Raiders and both squads

Imperial Vet: last Arq (Gamma)

Very bloody game, hard fought on both sides. @BrobaFett made an error that ended up swinging the game to me by not ETing bottom of round 3 with Defiance which let me catch him with Avenger.

And the galaxy shudders at the news! Corellia has once more succumbed to Imperial Suppression!

General Dodonna lost to Admiral Ozzel (no surprise - a General in Space, think the people) in a bloody and close battle! Granted, not a single vessel of the Imp fleet was destroyed, but you wouldn't tell that from the scars.

Rebel Scarred: 2x YT-2400, 1x MC30 (the one with Lando)

Imp Vet: Demo

Some shoddy deployment (of obstacles, ships, and Ion tokens) meant that most of my ships didn't see combat till round 4, and the tokens from the base defense were strategic'd away (friggin' FCT). On the plus side, Pod has learned to respect the defense oriented MC80, though he has yet to fear it. :( . The game was really close, with Demo and the Quasar almost dying (if it hadn't been for FCT. . .). far closer than the resultant destruction would imply.

As of this battle, the Rebel outpost on Nubia, and the base on Corellia, have been destroyed, as has the Imperial base on Saberhing. As a result, both sides get 40 refit points, but the Imps get 70 total resource points (for a split of 63/63/64), and the Rebels get 204, for a split of 68, even. Both sides are also within sufficient range of the VP goal to declare the AOA. I'll update the spreadsheet later to reflect this.

You can believe i feared it enough to Trap it at speed 0 and deploy my entire fleet on the other side of the table =)

I was lucky demo didnt succumb to its might. Would it have been worth more than your losses??

Do those refit poitn include if the rebels setup a presence on Sabhering (which I'm doing) and the imps both buold bases where they won. they may want to do this I don't know.

Nah. Demo was 89, I lost 113.

No, they're basic stats as of now.

The Imps get:

Pod: 24 resources.
Dorrin: 31
Vic: 25

and there is 1 point hanging extra. I'll assume they give it to Pod, in order that he might afford a base.

So then, Pod spends all his resources building the base, and gets 50 refit points. His repair bill is 53.
Dorrin builds a base, and gets 50 refit, and then gets 6 resources. His repair bill is 126.
Vis spends nothing for bases, gets 50 refit and 25 resources. His repair bill is 162.

The rebels get:

Ghost: 40 refit, 62 resources (forgot to remove Corellia), and my repair bill is 48. I can repair everything and have 13 points left over.
Broba: 40 refit, 149 resources (88 banked!!!), and his repair bill is 132. He can repair everything and have 17 points left over.
Irish: 40 refit, 71 resource, and his repair bill is 116 (including the YT-1300). He can't repair everything.

When they can be. But 70 divided by 3 gives 23.3 continuing, and 184/3 gives 61.3 continuing. In this instance, as nobody can get .3 of a resource, there is 1 resource point that doesn't fit to be evenly divided. When this occurs, the GA decided whom to bestow the extra resource(s) upon. I arbitrarily said myself, as being the most behind in points, and Pod, as being the one unable to afford a base. Dorrin can of course decide differently for his 1 point.

So do we need to do another strategic phase? if so when is the deadlien for fleets to be posted?

Also a base is 15 points to build, it gives 25 + location bonus.

Oh, ok. So you and Pod each get 10 more resources.

Ill be around. Monday is a holiday so I won't be around then but I think my fleet is pretty much set.

I take it nothing happened Monday? When is a good time to have our strategy phase?
