Rebel Scurrg Alpha Strike

By JLank, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Seems like temptation is to load the Scurgg up but it can go down quickly. Thought here is to focus something down pretty hard on the enemy list and get an early advantage . Three PS 9 cruise missiles should do it right? List is fairly weak once missiles are gone. The Awing may struggle to get damage through. Thoughts?

I think Alpha Strikes are better served with Long-Range Scanners if possible. You can put it on Nym.

My Rebel Scurrg list is a Nym Dash Duo.

Nym & Dash (100)

Captain Nym (48) - Scurrg H-6 Bomber
Veteran Instincts (1), Twin Laser Turret (6), Extra Munitions (2), Sabine Wren (2), Bomblet Generator (3), Cluster Mines (4), Long-Range Scanners (0)

Dash Rendar (52) - YT-2400
Expertise (4), Heavy Laser Cannon (7), "Chopper" (0), Outrider (5)

So far Nym is a beast that matches extremely well with Dash.

You're not wrong-- it's just that guidance chips gets him that sexy crit since his native attack is 3. At PS 9 I was figuring target lock wouldn't be too hard, but LRS would potentially allow you to get a focus to use for the shot
