N'Dru Suhlak & Cruiser Missile

N'Dru Suhlak: When attacking, if there are no other friendly ships at Range 1-2, roll 1 additional attack die.

Cruise Missiles: You may roll additional attack dice equal to the speed of the maneuver you executed this round, to a maximum of 4 additional dice.

So, if you pull a Straight 4, you get 1+4 to get 5 dice from the Missiles, then the pilot kicks in for the 6th dice, correct?

I'm just checking to see if the wording on the Cruise Missiles caps the additional dice at +4. It doesn't seem like it.

I would believe N'Dru adds the 6th die yes, since its all one sentence. If they tacked on "You may not roll more than 5 dice this way" it would be different.

Yeah. The maximum 4 additional dice is from the ability. It doesn't limit bonuses from elsewhere.

Thanks. That was my thinking too. Never hurts to check, I suppose. Could be a potential nerf point if it disrupts the game too much. Going up against 6 dice without a range bonus could be crippling.

If it were, it would have been nerfed well before now. 7 dice has been possible for at least 2 waves, and it's theoretically possible to get 9 dice repeatedly with Norra and a team.

How do you get to nine? The only way I can think of within 100 pts would involve using Finn and Nora's ability but spending the target lock on Nora's ability means you can't fix Finn's blank. It's technically 9 dice but one is a guaranteed blank.

Yup, but you need Intensity and VTs to do it reliably on Jan and Shara.

Ashoka gives Ezra a chance to focus + target lock for efficiency.

The ion turret is to target a singular ship to set up the range one attack.
