While we've had this game for quite a while we only started to actively play it within the last couple of weeks.

After running a few battles with the Core set we considered making some expansion to spice things up, but it seems as if the Rebel and Imperial Squadron packs are in extremely short supply. They show as out of stock on the FFG website and 3rd party Amazon retailers are asking $50+ for the things.

Did we just start to actively play the game at exactly the wrong time? I do see the Rebel and Imperial Squadron II packs as available, but honestly those ships don't quite capture the imagination the way the classic Y-wing, B-Wing, Tie-Bomber etc. do.

(Personally I'm just tired of getting annihilated by Howlrunner...)

You just popped up in between a supply restock, hold tight, it'll be alright. People like me who bought 3 of each wave 5 squads probably didn't help, I need more wave 1 too.... (3 isn't enough).

If you check out the "Upcoming" link at the top of this page https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/upcoming/ you can see they have been reprinted and are on the boat. This means they should be in the shops in about 1-3 months.

Did you check with you FLGS and see if they can get you squadron packs? The thirdy-party Amazon sellers watch the market when they see Amazon out of the stock they up their prices to outrageous levels in hopes that someone will buy them. Have you checked Miniature Market or Warstore?

Cool stuf inc is out of stock too. Unless you can score one at a FLGS, you may need to wait for the restock.

The FFG store in the twin cities have them on their shelf as of last week. Our local FLGS has them on their shelf. I guess if you do not have an FLGS, you might have to wait.
