Fighting in Terrain

By DMDaddy0, in Runewars Rules Questions

Can multiple units exist within the same terrain piece as long as they don't exceed the limit of the terrain? If they can, do they treat combat with each other as if they were attacking the front of the unit, regardless of how they are positioned or how many enemy units are in the terrain?

I had a similar question at one point in time. In the rules reference, under the Terrain section (81) 81.1 states "A Unit can only enter a piece of terrain in this way if that unit consists of a number of trays equal to or lower than that terrain's capacity value, and if the terrain is currently unoccupied ."

The second unit that collides with the terrain cannot enter the terrain, but is engaged with the unit that is occupying the terrain. 81.8 states the unit is "treated as touching the front edge of the enemy unit."

The Rules reference is available online, I have used it many times as it's easier to flip through than the physical copy:

Thanks a ton! I didn't catch that rule last time I played. We couldn't figure it out so at one point we had 4 trays of reanimates, a rune golem and a lancer in the big 6x tree stand.
