I enjoying flying these ships and have pretty good luck with them. Think this list is viable?

I don't think you are going to get much use of the mangler on the lambda. It's already got the three dice attack. You get the crit, yes, and the range 3 bonus, but I don't think it's worth it in this case. I'm personally not a big fan of the lambda to begin with, so I may be biased.

I was kinda thinking that too. But taking away the range 3 bonus and adding a crit seemed helpful. But also dropping that for another crew member could be helpful, just not sure what crew i would go with.

Gunner, if you can pull the points

You can use Vader twice, which, the lambda doesn't get a lot of shots

Mangler off, Tie Mk. II and PTL on Ryad for a start.

If you want to take a 'doom shuttle' its best to run it otherwise 'naked'. Its also helpful to have a blocker (because you can't vader things that escape the shuttle's firing arc). Tomax doesn't need all those fancy upgrades anyway. With crackshot, even his 2 attack die primary is good enough.

Here's my suggestion for a leaner & meaner version:

Ryad w/ PTL, X-7 & tie mk 2 = 36

Tomax w/ crackshot, plasma torps & guidance chips = 28

Omicron pilot w/ Vader = 24

Academy Pilot = 12

100

Its not an easy list to fly since all the Pilot Skills are different, but there's a definite order you want your ships in: Academy in front for blocking, Omicron more or less directly behind, and your other two ships off to one side or on either side of the shuttle. It pays to practice different opening strategies because this is the kind of list that will win or lose based on how flawless your opening is.

But its a solid list. You've got a strong 'closer' in the form or Ryad and some 'scary' firepower from Tomax and the shuttle. Academy will likely be ignored, but thanks to its barrel roll, can be a real thorn for your opponent with potential blocks.

I would suggest the list below. Tomax really wants 3 attack dice and some more protection. Wampa is feared by Fenn Rau and other aces. Always fire at your opponents aces if possible - even if its Fenn Rau with focus behind an asteroid at range 3 - Wampas ability does not care. The shuttle is there to collect info for Wampa, block and annoy your opponent.

Ryad, ASTS, X7, SD (35)
Tomax, CS, Unguided Rockets, LWF (29)
Omicron, Intelligence Agent (22)
Wampa (14)
