Liking the way this set is going. It does appear that the designers are responding to feedback. Card synergy seems to be improving with every set.

I couldn't agree more. How does that make it past the art director? I don't want to have to look at that card when I choose to play it.
They literally picked the worst art possible to reuse from the X-Wing game (used Gold Squadron Pilot for the Y-Wing), but other than that I'm happy!
I will be making and handing out unofficial alt-arts for Y-Wings if they don't make an official one!

Yeah, Rookie pilot won't be seeing much play.
Rather underwhelmed by this set. The game plays far to fast for a bunch of supports to be relevant. All this set will do is further break Poe/Maz decks while adding not much to the over all game from what we have seen so far.

You don't have to know the exact outcome of a set to know that some cards are good and some cards are bad.
I agree with Mep's prediction that Rookie Pilot won't see much play. Even in the ideal deck, his text is a bit clunky, forcing you to activate vehicles before him. His Ranged damage relies on other base Ranged dice, and he has two blanks. If I had 8 points left in my character build, I would probably take Rebel Trooper over Rookie Pilot, so I think his main use will be to fill in a list to hit 30 exactly. Maybe eLeia/Rookie Pilot/Ezra?

Already been stated this is a support heavy expansion. I am sure there are a few really good cards in this set. My plan is not to buy any boosters or packs and just buy the few singles from this set that are of interest.
