Last night I was flying against this list.

IG88-B (49) - Aggressor
Adaptability (0), Fire Control System (2), "Mangler" Cannon (4), Cluster Mines (4), Inertial Dampeners (1), IG-2000 (0), Autothrusters (2)

The idea was that Bossk would shoot, reroll hits with Dengar hoping for blanks to miss. Then use the shared pilot ability to shoot with his Mangler Cannon, count those hit, then proc Gunner from the first purposely missed shot. Sounded like extra cheese to me, but I couldn't see a clear rule either way that says you can proc both abilities at the same time, or not.

Yes it works because IG-88b and Gunner are simultaneous effects. You resolve them in the order of your choosing. Rules Reference page 8, 5th bullet under Card Abilities; FAQ page 8, step 9; FAQ page 21, first question under General.

Lists like this snatched the spotlight for a brief time before Paratanni started rocking the boat.

The big thing is you have to do it in the order you. If you use gunner first you do not get to shot with the Mangler, due to the wording on gunner

There is this. Before noticing that IG-88B doesn't have the attack ending clause (I took it as a "Gunner" effect complete with the no-more-attacks clause) I'd have said it doesn't work but it seems it does.

Awesome thanks. Still cheesy but it was fun and confusing to play against. I started playing after Paratanni, but now I will have a reason to play my IG-88 and Bossk!

For sure not meta breaking, but a fun way to use these ships in local/casual play. Our group has pretty much turned our backs JM5K's for casual play, and we are thinking about doing the same with Expertise. I may make a case against Sabine locally too. She's 2 points too cheap.
