Aggressive Tie Aggressors

By FlashBackJack, in X-Wing Painting and Modification

So i thought that they just looked a little too swept wing and not aggressor like

I'm planning a repaint the inside lines looks ready for a red stripe

Not the first time I've seen this, and I think a decent % of people are going to do this because the original design is awful, aesthetically.

I'm not brave enough to do it.

And as i'm planning to buy just one of this thingy, i prefer to keep it original, as ugly as it is...

moving the wings around sort of reminds me of this

That's awesome... Definitely doing this

I like it; it looks more... aggressive!

It looks a little bit like double middle fingers to me, which suits it.

Gotta say, it looks much better but also for some reason it feels like it is giving the finger with both hands as it flies.

Really? I like the original design.

Wow! This is WAY more interesting and definitely differentiates it from the Advanced.

Jack.....

I'mma copy you on this, a'ight?

Has anyone tried putting the wings of the TIE Advanced Prototype on the Aggressor?

Umm... why? Not trying to sound rude, just genuinely, for what reason?

hey
yeah i tried that but they didn't look quite right
i did flip the wings around on the Proto as they looked a little better
i'll take a pic and show you what i mean

Would love to drop that on the table!

I was thinking of doing this, thought I was all clever and original.

Now I know I'm doing it, and don't care if it's not original, that looks proper badass!

Does it bother no one else that the turret is even less able to fire with the panels that way around? Don't get me wrong, I think the overall appearence is better than the original (which is just a shot-up Advanced) - but one of the things that bothers me about the original is that the turret can't shoot forward (y'know, the way the Synced Turret is supposed to work...), and this remodeled version can only shoot behind it.

I wonder how it would look to take off the top fin to make shooting look possible. Sounds like a half good idea.

Maybe its able to slide up and down? Shoot over the cockpit?

Eeeeh, who am I kidding, I've got as little an idea as to how that turret is supposed to work as Sienar did.

Not for me. The original design makes some sense because of the turret and its field of fire. Its form follows function for me.
