Which damage deck do you search when applying the condition card.

Your own or your opponent's?

Your opponent's. You use the deck of the person whose ship is being Shown the Dark Side.

The FAQ doesn't say specifically, but I believe it's your opponent's damage deck, since nothing on the condition card contradicts the rules that a player draws damage for their ships from their own deck.

I have the impression that there is only one shared deck of damange cards. Which when playing with Kylo stuff should be the TFA Core Set Deck.

You have the wrong impression.

Each player has their own damage deck, and never assigns damage cards from any deck but that one.

You are referring to tournament regulations, right?

In casual play there is only one shared, right?

Not in any casual play I've ever done.

• @SOLAR FLARE You are partially correct. For a game from the starter set, there may be only 1 damage deck (in which case it's an irrelevant question).
• For competitive events, each player has a damage deck.
• In 'standard' 100 point games, the rules allow for but do not insist on both players having a damage deck (so my apologies):

(the last bit being why Kylo doesn't assign your cards to the other guy)

Whilst the generic rules imply a single deck.

Obviously, playing with a single deck does make Kylo Ren proportionately more powerful, because in addition to 'siccing' the critical of your choice on the other guy, you also remove it as a possible one for you to draw.

Regardless, if there are two decks in play, it comes from your opponent's.

You can play that way, but I'd say that 99.9999% of X-Wing games are played with each player having their own damage deck.

For casual play, you are instructed to use the TFA damage deck if you have it (Rules Reference, p9). For Tournament play, each player chooses their Damage Deck independently. I don't see any requirement anywhere that both players need to be using the same deck.
