If literally every other person in your meta is playing Sloan and you're the only one, then maybe it is ok to build a list entirely thinking of how to stop Sloan. What you want is a list with a plan that is anti-sloan, but which also has plans against other things. Even then, I'm not sure this is superb against Sloan. Your fighters are very vulnerable to a Sloan alpha, which they are likely to get simply because their squadrons are faster. I'm also not sure you've got the volume or hull to be Ruthless strategying your own squads to death.

I'd think first about how you want your own list to work as a list, and only secondarily about how it matches up against Sloan or anything else, because that will usually make the answer much clearer.

Downgrade AF2A to Yavaris with FCT and Flight Commander. The double taps will make up for the ruthless Strategist and your squads don't really have the vast extra hull to make those trades with 10 Sloane TIEs.

Swap EWing for Jan to lend braces to the escorts and look at galant Haven which can drive TIEs insane. VCX for Biggs too maybe. You want to stay near your ships v Sloane and token moving won't be possible as the TIEs engage you.
