Imperial Intensity

What about an EU Intensity Decimator? If you know you'll be in a bunch of arcs next turn, make your maneuver of choice, Boost for your action, get your Evade token, then maybe get a range 3 green die plus the token to make you a bit more slippery while shooting a pot shot at the enemy and getting ready to drop a bomb on pursuers.

Small ship only

Edit: Otherwise, Kenkirk + Isard + Intensity + Engine Upgrade + OpSpec would be very tanky.

Its quite a good thing its small ship only

I tried to put it on Dengar initially. Was confused why it wasnt available in the list. Once i noticed it said "Small ship only" i went "Yeah thats probably a good thing...." lol

It looks like they started doing the "Dengar Test" sometime during development of this wave (After Cad Bane at least). The test consists of someone just asking "Does this make Dengar even more beastly?".

intensity is pretty good worth com-relay.
I also like intensity on Rudor Valen - I take Tie V1, and Target lock you for an evade - you attack me and I boost or roll for an evade or focus - I attack you with focus TL, and now I'm in position to run away to recharge intensity, or pursue - where I can recharge intensity. If I am attacked AGAIN - I can also take a focus action and end up with dual focus tokens .... if I didn't need them both I can recharge intensity.

Nice idea. Rudor is essentially a 'budget TIE interceptor ace', and whilst the TAP lives and dies by action economy, the number of free actions he could get means Push The Limit is a bad plan because you never want him stressed. Intensity is a nice budget version, and it, him, autothrusters and the TIE/v1 title sit very nicely inside the price you'd pay for a TIE interceptor ace with nothing but the chassis

Ran Vader w/ Intensity, Cruise Missile, EU, Title and ATC last night. Wow yeah thats a good build. Getting the 2nd token from Intensity saved his can at least 4 times in 3 games and Cruise Missiles gave him a bite at a range he normally doesnt. He oneshotted Jax with a 5die cruise missile lol.

Yup, he's expensive at 39 points but super worth it.

Thing is, hes about the same cost as just about any other "main" ship in a list. Unless youre going the numbers game of 4-5 ships, usually 1 if not 2 of your ships are 35-40pts and the third is a budget (pure sabaac!!)

I ran that vader + Deathrain w/ Adv Sensors, Unguided, Bomblett, and LWF + Pure Sabaac w/ Wired, Title, LWF for an even 100pts. Worked amazingly since now Deathrain is actually a freakin threat and draws attention AND can survive it now. Sabaac with wired works pretty well since hes usually stressed anyway from all the kturns he has to do to dodge arcs.

He's a couple of points more expensive than I'd usually like to go, and he doesn't fit into my RAC/Ace list as a result. But yeah, 2 aces at about that level plus a budget ship (now possibly just a 23 point TLT to bait the hook) is still solid.
