Imperial Assault (Lego Version)

By Cakepanman22, in Imperial Assault Painting and Modification

So this started as a fun little random "Hey look how nerdy we are" thread when I was on the forums asking for some rule clarification - and a member named Stompburger suggested I share all my pics here.
Basically my friends and I have lots of old (and new) Legos', and about 3 missions into Imperial assault realized that we could totally re-create the entire game-board and heroes with Legos.
The increased size, and get-togethers for pre-game building was a lot of fun, and made this game much much more enjoyable (and nerdy). I even spent $10.00 on a Lego-compatible star-wars weapon pack to have all the actual guns to match the cards.
The tiles were obtained from a website called bricklink, and were super cheap (around $0.03 per a tile). There are also several websites with cheap knock-off versions of star wars "lego-compatible" characters if you don't have an arsenal of old Legos laying around from your childhood, should you want to attempt this. Hope the link works (never tried Imgur before).

Thanks for sharing the rest of these! It's really creative. I love the Lego Nexu :D

There should be a way to link the images individually for embedding, if you want to do that. Then they'd show up right in this post (though the album link is fine too). The pictures will be under "Images" in your imgur profile, and each one will have a link (called the "Direct Link") that you can copy and paste into here for embedding, like this:

" http://i.imgur.com/xjhBlnn.jpg " becomes

xjhBlnn.jpg

It also works if you right click on each image and select "Open image in new tab" and copy the URL of the tab that opens (that's what I did to get this picture).

This is only from a computer though; I don't know how to do it on mobile.
