There is no ship-only restriction for target selection, so yes.

The re-roll is 2 dice on 1 attack, i.e. vs one squadron.

Attacking squads within the same arc are considered as separate attacks, therefor every "once" effect applies to only one squadron attack.

But yes - the FAQ clearly states that each individual squadron attack is a separate attack for Upgrade card Purposes.

That is why Slaved Turrets gets a specific exception.
