Can a tractor beam on a Flotilla effect a small ship?

I ask because my opponent in a game the other day, had that configuration, by I wonder if it is possible at all, as Flotillas per say is not the same size class as a small ship.

Flotillas do not effect the size of ship. It is a rule in addition to normal ship rules. You could have a large ship flotilla within the current framework.

They are on a small base, so are a small ship.

So two flotillas can really spoil Demolishers day?

And new combos keeps popping up and becomes more varied, for every wave, that it is mind boggling
