Are people interested in new models of old figures? For instance, if another expansion for the Rune Golems was released with nothing new except for the model poses, would people buy them? I feel like the variety has been great so far, but you I'd still like more. I feel like it'd at least be good incentive down the line to buy existing expansions if they came with new cards and models. I kinda wish the expansions already did that though (spearmen for example). I'd definitely buy for models and cards.

Model production is insanely expensive. New units (artillery, chariots, etc) would generate more sustainable revenue for the company.
Naw, I've modded spears on cav and reposed all but one golem as is (golems are very easy)
I'm with Darthain, even though I've never modded a miniature before. It seems straightforward enough that I might give it a go after some study of the techniques. Probably not worth the company releasing new sculpts. I'm just glad Reanimates have 4 sculpts - makes it more interesting to look at.

Even compared to the price they charge for miniatures? Any idea what percentage of the total cost goes into the miniature?

Keep in mind diminishing returns, of the players who have them already only a few will want more sculpts.

Plus you may not know this but all the expansions were suppose to be more than they are now.

A plastic Games Workshop style sprue mold can push upwards of thirty thousand bucks.
PVC costs about $0.80 a pound but the molds are very expensive. There also would be a lot of scrap.
