I've just came back to the game after a year or so away from it. I'm starting of by getting back with the Imps. I'm practicing with Echo, mainly for the fun of his repositioning shenanigans and I've always loved bombers so Deathfire is a fun way to get one in. Looking for a third ship that would fit well in this semi-control list

Had a go with Vessery, and slimming down Deathfire, but wondering if anyone has a suggestion of a better fit.

"Echo" (40) - TIE Phantom
Veteran Instincts (1), Fire Control System (2), Rebel Captive (3), Advanced Cloaking Device (4)

"Deathfire" (25) - TIE Bomber
Conner Net (4), Extra Munitions (2), Flechette Torpedoes (2), Long-Range Scanners (0)

You need something that can shoot at the things echo is scared of.

Drop the Flexhette torpedoes and take Duchess with VI, Lighthweight Frame and Ailerons to counteract PS9 threats to Echo.

Thanks for the input, but is that in place of Deathfire? I was more looking for something to fill the remaining 35 points. I'll give Duchess a go for sure, but I feel Deathfire does gives some counter to high PS aces anyway.

I totally failed my math. I thought you only had 25 points left. Nothing to see here...

With 35 points you could run Ryad with Juke and x7, leaving a point for initiative bid in those PS8 matchups.

32pts gets you VI,FCS,LWF Backdraft, add pattern analyzers/sensor clusters for 2pts and a 1pt bid.

Can get crackshot Quickdraw for 34pts and a 1 pt bid, or adapt for a 2pt bid.

And x7 Vessery isnt a bad choice either with LRS and FCS in your list. Can drop Conners down to proximities for 1 more pt opening up Lone Wolf Quickdraw possibilities, assuming Deathfire is killed first, and Echo doing Echo things, Quickdraw should be by himself.

Best is RAC with Kylo Ren. Two Damaged Cockpits later and Echo has the highest PS. It's gold.
