That's just how I feel right now.
I also prefer orange soda, so it's just kind of subjective.

Decloaking, Palpatine, and x7 are all just fine now. They are all potent and powerful but require skill and decision-making to use, as it should be.
It's stuff from the other factions that's broken. Imps are just fine.
Decloaking would absolutely be as bad now as it was then. Even worse, Scum would still benefit from the shenanigans.
Defenders are fine as is.
I miss old Palp :/
Might as well break all three factions.
Boom.
Balance.
If decloaking rules were restored to their original iteration, I'd literally quit the game and just play Runewars until it got fixed. Phantoms are already so strong that without the right tools they can wreck your face. Old decloaking rules mean that without the right tools they will always wreck your face. It creates a way too constricted metagame.
While a little worried about the old decloaking rules, I would be interested in hearing testing results for this.

That logic does not apply with Mindlink.

If everyone is OP, no-one is.
Good god, give it a rest!
Imps are fine, it's Rebels need help!
Edited by Stay On The LeaderI used to be in the same boat about Palp, but I recently started using him in different squads and he's not as bad as I originally thought. He definitely isn't as good, but it was either that or a range nerf (1-2/1-3) and I'm fine with this change.
X7 is where it should be. Nuff said.
Decloaking was an annoying nerf but it was needed. Think about it, during the height of the Empire what was the ONE squad you saw in big tournaments? Either Palp Aces or some variation of it, sometimes they'd throw in a Decimator for the fun of it. Phantoms NOW just require skill and competent wingmen to fly.

Now introducing:
STAR WARS
JM5K vs.
TIE Phantom
Imbalance of Power
Edited by Darth MeanieNo on Cloaking and No on X/7. Palp should be changed back though.
This might go down as the worst idea I've ever seen on the forums.
"So this faction is the most balanced in the game, and is seeing a lot of diversity, and even winning tournaments, and has by far the fewest issues of any of the factions... let's throw all the progress we've made out the window and put them back to where there are only 3 things worth flying for them again!"
I know that this is just a troll thread but it still makes me virulently angry. Great job.

Username checks out.
I think Palps would be fine going back to the original text. The other 2 not so much.
However, I do think Cloak needs an extra defense dice. With the red dice power creep, 2 extra defense dice is not what it once was.

And I, for one, wouldn't blame you.
On the other hand, the decloaking fix sucked balls and left exactly one of the Phantoms semi-viable. (I know that it's common to have only one pilot viable for a ship ... I also always think it sucks balls, especially when you've had a second crack at the ship.) It was literally the easiest thing they could have done and claimed to have "fixed" the Phantom. In other words: "FFG normal!"

Palp was never broken. He was very strong, and if you followed the common podcast advice you would always lose to him, but he was never broken.
On the other hand, he's also fine as he is now.

Are you playing the same game as the rest of us? Or too much Orange soda?

Uhh... allow me to quote myself.

x7 is fine now, Old Palp was undercosted(and new Palp costs too much, so that's sort of a wash...), but yeah, no, Cloaking can stay fixed thanks. If you weren't PS10+, or 9 with a better initiative bid, or didn't have a turret, or preferably both, you may as well concede. It was bad enough just before the errata that an 86 point list of just the two named pilots won several Store championships.
I remember when the biggest concern was nerfing Palpatine.
We could just grow away our generic cards! We'd save so much space!
