Your Desired Future Expansions (Lets be positive on the future of Descent)

 Not the expansion that killed 1st edition, NOOOO....

LOL. To be fair SoB didn't kill Descent 1st Ed, it was already in decline at that point anyways. The expansion itself was received pretty well from what I remember, even if the ship stuff was rather fiddly.

Yeah it was so well received that you can still buy new copies for $25. While I've only ever seen used copies of the other expansions, typically at a higher price than when they were new.

A barghest -mounted goblin archer ! It could come in a H&M, and could behave differently based on if you kill the archer or barghest first.

If you wanted you could make a mission where this is possible using quest vault. I might do this one day.

I need this: carrion-lancer.jpg

More Hero and Monster packs (or just a hero pack) to get the missing 12 Heroes from the conversion kit.

A Familiar and Summon pack so we get actual plastic minis instead of tokens.

Another small box expansion (arctic theme maybe) with more hybrid classes.

If we got a Mage to Healer... Okay, it might not be OP, but High Mage Quellen as Bard w/ Understudy and Concentration.

Basically this:

rest action

wut is a rest action

If someone played that I would strongly consider getting Exploit Weakness from the Punisher deck.

this might look cool but i think it is a little big for a barghest-mounted goblin archer.

In addition to everything else people have mentioned (especially the ice caves and desert pyramids) I would like another city themed expansion to supplement the Nerekhall tiles.

I remember when Road to legend and Sea of blood came out(**** just realized that was around 10years ago). Problem with both expansions why they are not so popular as previous ones was not related to rules. Box brought very nice stuff but as I can remember it did not contain any new monster and heroes minis and that was the point where most people tend off from this box when it comes to buy something new. It was targeted for advanced players who like to play long, and self made campaigns, and not the Sunday Warriors who play one or two encounters a year. When it first got into the shop I used to work at the time, all 6 boxes delivered sold out the same day it arrived, same as Road to legend some time before that. And that was in Poland, where client base for this game(1 ed only available in English, with clumsy bootleg self translated manuals etc.) was rather small.

Do you mean the "Legacy of Dragonholt"?

Yes.

Been waiting for some kind of RPG set within the Runebound universe

Warrior: Brawler and Healer: sage confirmed?

Reasonable chance these were at least planned, even if they are never released.

I dunno, that list is rather light on mage class names. Maybe the sage be the mage? Or heck, sage is just the generic catch all for mage, and it's the skills you pick that truly determine what you end up being.

Considering those are not in descent, and descent is missing a healer...

Could also be a healer/Mage hybrid. Brawler doesn't seem at all hybrid though.

Was on BGG & just heard about Fallout (The poster said it was the end of Descent). Anyone think it's true about Descent? :o

Then I saw posters on BGG saying no, so now I'm Chicken Little

How about something to do with the Uthuk clan? They've been strangely absent in all forms of Descent.

I would love to see
- Dunwarr Mountains where dwarves have built massive fortresses
- The Great Forest of Aymhelin with the Latari elves
- The snowy continent of Isheim (the tomb of Ice)

- The islands of Torue Albes (Sea of Blood expansion)
- The desert of Al-Kalim.

Mennara is our world, we have to explore a bit more!
(I hope they will give us a world map and more lore books too).

I would really love a desert setting, like act 2 from Diablo 2.

I always pictured Labyrinth of Ruin taking place in a Desert area.

I would love to see some desert based tilesets and an expansion with the Uthuk'ulan.
