Naming Convention on the LCG vs CCG

I rather like the CCG design of having named characters and then generic followers. Keep in mind that I never played the CCG, and love the LCG - I just enjoy the concept of having a unique character followed by a unit of soldiers. I related more with a named character honestly, though I understand many people feel the opposite. I would, however, make all of them unique -- as in, no more than 1 on the board at a time.
