Tie striker obligatory move

By Larky Bobble, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Hi people. I got some T.Strikers last week and was playing a game. One question arose...

The Adapt.Alierons card. If I screw up and place a ship in front of the center right of my striker, is my striker then obliged to "boost" left to make a full Ad.Al move (before revealing the dial) or can I choose the "boost" right and minibump my own ship?

Thanks for any replies

You can bump with the manoeuvre from Adaptive Ailerons. If you do, you only lost your Perform Action step if you then subsequently bump with your dial move as well.

Since AI is not considered a boost action but a maneuver you could bumb.

Cool. Thanks...

My initial thought was that I had to make a full move if I could. So my 3bank left that was planned on a right "boost" to slalom foward ended up zooming off to the left and onto a rock where it was "blinded".

Good times :)

Bumping with the AA move also doesnt strip your action later on, as per faq. So you can actually work with that to get some other interesting flight patterns going.
Just dont slam into anyone that has "if you hit me" effects lol (ion projector)
