Put this list together. I'm really itching to try out the new stuff. I don't play much msu style fleets any advice is welcome.

Interesting, I had a similar idea but man, my squadron choices are up my points. No Rogue Squadrons seems like an interesting choice with this list. Will the HH's be giving Squad Commands? Also I am interested to see how those boarding parties do on the table.

Yea the y-wings will fly with the hammer heads, the z's and x will provide a screen.

I plan on getting another pack of hammers and running 4 of them adding in another scout and torp kitted out like above. I'll drop both of the 90's and probably add another Y-wing.

Wish I had more experience with Leia to give advice but I did post my list and thoughts on Leia. Not sure if it would help you here but it is what it is.

That second list is really good, though what is supposed to command those squadrons?

I say just switch the squadron wing to all out A-wings, your ships have enough firepower.

Maybe take ER off the MC30c, with the upgrades it currently has, it will survive, so consider APTs on it.

The hammerheads will push squads with Leia boosted squad commands.

I like the a-wing suggestion, I could do that and drop x-17off the mc30 to put apt's on the 30 and EC on the 90 that leaves me with a decent 8pt bid

Here is my list that I made. I have played it only twice yet I like it. It offers a good punch with the swarm of hammerheads and the swarm and focus on squadrons if needed.

I'm up in the air over the red and yellow objectives, and got a little room with the bid

Drop ECM for Toryn and the counter 2 plus flak might just stack up. You are sorta better off with Tycho and Shara than 4 Awings.

I'm happy with 14 or bid I meant that I'm willing to add to the list and go less than 14 if anybody had any suggestions for additions

I mean what archetypes of fleet moght outbid you? Heavy squadrons? Low activations? High activations?

Ah right. Its likely that small ships will outbid so most wanted might not help much.

This looks VERY familiar... actually I played vs EXACTLY this list yesterday - seems he was more than a little inspired :D

Me and my bud testing Leia Hammerheads vs Sloan Quasar.

It worked fairly well, mostly bc my opponent maneuvered very well.

The CR90s in particular enjoyed Leia a LOT, being able to manipulate speed 2 steps in the early game, the unleashing TRC CF hell late game (goodbye Demo - you will be missed). Hammerheads also did surprisingly good, and the mix oc Scout/Torpedo worked out quite well (again good maneuvering and activation order).

Slaved Turrets...I hate those...but on the Scout w/Leia...it was acutually pretty good! DCaps seems over the tops - although my opponent did get to use it, getting the blue at long range vs my Quasar. But still. And the single Boarding Engineer. Not bad, but not really needed.

What didn't work so great was the squad mix. Utter rubbish. Blount and two Swarms? Not enough. A single escort? Not enough. 3 random Y-wings? Why???

How did he fly the squadrons? My plan was to keep the y's near the hammers and the z's and x with the AF...

Ive altered the list quite a bit from then and have since simplified the squadron wing to just 6 a-wings

He kept them close by - had no choice vs my Sloane-TIEs - using the X and one of the Ys to draw fire away from the Zs. He was able to use his ships and squadron placement to prevent a full Alpha. Then cleverly used a debris field to blunt my followup attack. Even killed 2 squads. So that bit went well enough I guess.

Problem was that be being defensive with speed 3 squads he was always on the back foot. He had no say in where the fight took place. You don't need 6 A-wings necessarily, but a couple would be very useful. Not sure what the right mix would be. 2 Xs, 2 As, 2 Zs maybe. Something like that.

But mostly it was a pretty effective list. Fun to play vs. And my bud had a great time playing it.
