So, @AwesomeJedi, you asked my opinion of this on another thread. First off, I think this would be OP on T70's, which, honestly, would not be all that of a bad thing, but we want T65's, so I'm just going to assume that it would be T65 only?

On topic, I think that as long as it is 65 only, the 4 would be better.

Why would it be OP on T-70 X-wings?

Because triple t70s have actually seen some play, which means that they are somewhat usable, and the non-biggs 65s aren't. Aka, 65s need more of a fix than the 70s.

Perhaps the -2 point one could be the 70 fix, and the -4 point the 65 fix?

Is there a way I could go about this without another card? Or is another card for the T-70 the only way to go?

"Errata" X-Wings from SWX01, SWX02, and SWX11 to have the type "T-65 X-Wing" instead of "X-Wing". Existing X-Wing Only upgrades still work with both T-65's and T-70's due to naming conventions, and now you have design space for T-65 X-Wing Only cards just like Black One is T-70 X-Wing Only.

I feel like FFG doesn't enough to do something like that.

Its a simple fix, and sad that FFG has been sitting on their thumbs about fixing it for some time. But who cares what they are doing as far as the topic of this thread is concerned; you are making homebrew cards for your own games, so implement the fix in your own games.

I am going to change the name of Assault Retrofit to Assault Refit after reading the definitions of retrofit and refit. I am also changing the art on that card to the art below.

I have two different wordings for this card but I want a second opinion. I am leaning towards Option 1. Which do you think is better?
