Hi, i've a question: i'm an assasin and i want become a Maletek Stalker. Can i choose talents like Luminen Shield and Barrier from "The Lathe Worlds"?

You mean Calixian Malatek (The Lathe Worlds, p.36)? You can't choose this alternate rank until you are a Tech-Priest.

Oh, I forgot about this one. Yes, it clearly say "Stalker is assumed to meet any prerequisite which specifies “Tech-Priest.”, so you can take skills and talents from TLW.
