More likely a ton of crap from the scum faction is about to be heavily nerfed and the forums will explode in outrage. I predict, Attani, K4, Jumpmasters (Dengar especially), and Asaj and or latz.

I also predict Biggs, Miranda, TLT, and Jess get nerfed a bit

and empire gets a buff :P

Jess? Really? My "things that are nerf worthy" senses must be set to stun.

Ya if they nerfed Jess, I'd be pretty upset haha. She is fine from everything I've seen.

If FFG is going to go deep, these are the things I think could be adressed-

Sabine crew- either roll for the damage or give a range band

TLT-give range 3 defensive bonuses maybe?

Miranda- can only use ability on primary shots. Might kill her though

Adv SLAM- can't be used on speed 3 or higher. Lots want to take out its bombing capability. That seems like it would ruin the theme of the whole thing and make it useless.

Mindlink- only can pass to unstressed ships, can't have multiple focus tokens, range restriction of 1. Plenty of ways to deal with it.

Fenn Rau- not sure the most elegant way to deal with him. Maybe just burn with fire. Honestly, he might be the most problem ship in the game right now. Mindlink nerf maybe would be enough though.

Biggs- once per round doesn't seem like the answer...

Jumpmasters (all of them)- They just need to all be like 3-5 points more expensive. I'm not sure there is much else to do.

darkhorse candidates

Assaj- limit to range 1

Latts crew- Once per round

K4- only triggers if no bump

Expertise- Same as above

debris- now can't fire when on top (not likely, something I would just like to see lol)

The thing about Sabine is that the most powerful use of Sabine is on a single bomber, Miranda. So a range restriction does nothing.

IMO it's not Sabine, bombs, or Advanced SLAM that's the problem, it's adding these things to a regen ship with TLT. I don't have an issue with these things on a PS 2 generic or 3 of them, I have an issue with Sabine and bombs when it's added to a turreted regen ship.

There needs to be a scoring system change to address point fortressing, and since the best point fortresses are regen ships, something that also tackles regen.

But of course, some intellectually dishonest Rebel player will come along to ***** about how no one would ever play regen ships if it wasn't possible to abuse shield regen. Oh no, now I can't just run away until time is called, now I may have to actually engage to make up some points. Wow, it took no skill for my opponent to put plink damage through my shields to score points on me, I should be rewarded for excellently doing a series of one green straight maneuvers.

My opponent needs to get good and focus fire more. It takes MUCH more skill to run away until you're full health again.

To be fair, Miranda is a point fortress that is one of the fastest ships in the game. Friend of mine SLAMed for 25 min at this last store champ with a 1 hull Miranda and the guy who should have won just couldn't keep up with his half health Asaj

Ya this shows the issues with two things in tournament play- no universal half point scoring, and no penalty for avoiding combat.

In terms of unknown info at release? Typically it’s only a dial or 2, the point cost of some of the middle generics and maybe 1-2 upgrade cards, that’s it. All unique pilots are released early, all ship stats, and virtually all upgrades are revealed well in advance of release date.

Dials have never be an FAQ issue with exception of Juno Eclipse and final point costs of Generics doesn't generate questions either.

As far as I can tell there aren't any new questions regarding any of the last bits of info revealed in the last few days, heck we even typically get someone at a warehouse cracking the kits prior to release day anyway so there's never any unknown info as of release day anyway.

This community pretty much jumps on any grey area within the card text as soon as new info comes out, literally within half an hour of a pilot or upgrade being spoiled if it has even a hint of ambiguity there's a thread about it up on the rules forums.

The FAQ's are already there a week out from release on the rules forums, FFG just needs to answer them.

As for stress testing the cards, the fervent rules fanatics, WAAC players and grammar police on these forums pick up 99% of the issues straight away, I can't think of an instance where something has been out for a month before someone points out a problem that can't be solved by reading the rules, or at least is not worthy of an FAQ instalment.

With events running every weekend across the world it would be great if there weren't the need to have these sorts of discussions every wave or product that comes out.

Wearhouse breaking does very little, most game testers honor their NDAs. However with all the complaints of balance and later erratas that change whole sections IMHO a release can be give some time to simmer before a FAQ is hot of the iron of a release. Besides, it only matters for tournaments.

Tell you what, why don't you compile a Wave 11 Questions you want FFG to answer in a thread and even better, email the results of that thread to FFG. Take some time to gather up all the question you have not just from spoiler articles because we all know they can't be trusted but actual questions that come from gameplay. I'm sure we can all think of a few. Some FFG might already have the answer, others might be the first time anyone has ever though to ask that. The ball is in your court.

About Advanced SLAM... Would it be the worst thing in the world if equipping it removed your crew slot? Everyone keeps saying the problem isn't Sabine or Adv SLAM by themselves, just combined. So why not just switch off the ability to combine them?

Looks like someone already did

They have confirmed that there will be a short period for Imps to enjoy TLT and then WHAMEEEE with the nerf hammer.

Good, add to it if you can. Keep in mind there's a lot of questions and that maybe there is even a little playtesting to see how all possible rulings will work out. However FAQs have been known to 180.

Still no FAQ... maybe Monday?.... Please?...

Why is everyone saying there is a huge nerf bomb about to drop? It's only ever happened once before and there's no reason to make such a specific prediction...

FAQ could be all just clearing up rulings.

I quite like that actually. Maybe also make her only work for bombs you drop yourself instead of all friendly bombs (so you can't just put her on another ship if you have an open crew slot)

Because things need to be nerfed
