One thing about playing without command decks though is that it guarantees 3 damage on the force choke, and luke doesn't get his super strong command card. SoS makes luke the beast that he is; without it, he is strong, but goes down to tier 2 imo.

Well, the thread's about Luke vs Vader 1v1, therefore SoS is unplayable under this condition, as much as LotS aswell.
On normal situations things are definitely different
